People always say that living in London, England (or any part of England actually) is really expensive. But does it just look expensive to us Canadians/Americans because of the wage difference? Forget big careers like doctors, lawyers. Let's just say for example, how much would an average person working in Mcdonalds at UK compare to one working here in USA/Canada?
Does their salary get them by for daily necessities (i.e. food, shopping, etc.)
I'm also assuming it depends on where you're living in UK as well? (London vs. Liverpool)Salary for Mcdonalds in UK?
It is the rent that is expensive in London area, I don't know the price of the rents because I live in Scotland but McDonald's pay the minimum wage here in Glasgow.which is 拢5.95ph($9.50ph) To buy a studio type flat in London you are talking around 拢250,000 but here in Glasgow you can buy a 4 bedroom detached house for that price. I imagine that food prices are the same in London as they are anywhere else in the UK.
