Is it wrong to work at McDonalds at my age?

I am slowly going back into the job field and have many interviews. As being a college student and have a family to attend to(I'm 30 BTW) Is there anything wrong with working at McDonalds part time until I am done with my studies? I was offered a position to work for them but I told them I would like to keep my options open as I have other interviews. If I do not get hired at my other interviews,This is my last resort

It is awkward as a person my age should have a successful career but I look at it as bringing home a paycheck to help with the billsIs it wrong to work at McDonalds at my age?
Absolutely not! You do what you have to do. You have to pay the bills somehow.

For instance, a friend of mine, she works as a medical technician/researcher in a hospital during the day, and does waitressing at night.

Another is an aspiring musician who works full-time at Burger King.

So you are not alone! Is it wrong to work at McDonalds at my age?
do this..... research the average age of general managers of Mcdonalds franchises..... also, how long did they work at Mcdonalds before being promoted to the position of general manager..... also, what is their average income. not only will the answers likely surprise you, you just may be turning down other job offers that seem better for you in the short term. Best of luck to you, and hold your head high for being responsible enough to do whatever is necessary to take care of your family.
no a paycheck is a paycheck, I took a production plant job while in college for a medical degree, as long as it brings a paycheck in the helps your family, work there. and it will help on your interviews so a future employer can see that you can hold down a job and they see you as productive and worthy of their position. Is it wrong to work at McDonalds at my age?
Hunny, it is perfectly fine to do it as a pathway to be a more successful person. Now, if you were living off welfare with no plans for improvement or with an entire lack wanting to go to work, or not working on studies, or planned on sticking to McD's for the rest of your life - it would be something to be embarrassed about. But you are just trying to do what you can to help your family, and that is honorable. You go girl!
It's never wrong to do what must be done to pay the bills and support your family. I think it would be more wrong to refuse a job because you feel it's beneath you and, all the while, get behind on your bills and not support your family properly. Is it wrong to work at McDonalds at my age?
There is absolutely nothing wrong with working for McDonald's. There is never anything wrong doing honest work to support your family, what would be wrong is sit back, wait and get into serious financial difficulties that could cause serious problems later.
hold your head up,at least its not your career.. i feel sorry for people who dont take advantage of the programs out there to get you back into school.. do what you have to do.
NO! :D Its fine working at any age at mcdonalds :D I've seen thousands of people your age and I really like seeing them there :D they aren't spoiled as the young ones ;) I love seeing adults there :) They know how to take care of mcdonalds :) I hope to see you there :)
NO YOUR MAKING AN HONEST LIVING AND YOUR DOING WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO GET BY. YOUR DOING IT TO MEET GOALS FOR YOUR FUTURE SO I SEE NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT.
Absolutely not! It's a great company.
