Would you say that people that work at McDonalds have no real career goals?

No, just ACNE,and some nerdiness!!Would you say that people that work at McDonalds have no real career goals?
That really depends. Do they like their job at McD's? Do they want to progress? How old are they? Is this their first job or last job?Would you say that people that work at McDonalds have no real career goals?
Not at mcdonalds, no, but it doesn't mean they don't have them for later in life. Not everyone works at mcdonalds intending to have a career there.
Lol I think it depends is it a 16 yr old or a 40 year old..See what Im getting at and its not only the age a few factors would decide that --I men you cant say everyone working at any place is any type of anything ..Heres a good question..Why are people always trying to categorize EVERYONE ?? ThanksWould you say that people that work at McDonalds have no real career goals?
No.

I think they need a job so they can pay for housing, food, ect.
yes! anyone who works at McDs is either 1. mexican, 2. retarded or 3. have no education.

The only other jobs they could possibly get is probably at Stop%26amp;Shop or other poor stores.Would you say that people that work at McDonalds have no real career goals?
wow talk about harsh generalizations! For some people that is a career, while for others it is a means to an end (working through school, supporting their family) Harsh
no, quite a few employees are in school while working there, others may have another job at the same time , and some work there just as a means of keeping busy, ie housewives that may only work there while the small children are in school.
Like working at any other place, most people don't have any set or written career goals. A few do have them and thats true for people working at McD too.

They may be just working there for the time being, to pay their bills, while they might be preparing themself for some really big career at McD or elsewhere.
No, because sometimes people have to take a job there in order to build up work experience or to make ends meet while working towards another career goal. Sometimes people have to take whatever job is available in order to survive, especially since the unemployment rate is at a two-year high. Other jobs in preferred fields may not be available, so it is better to work than have a huge gap in one's resume.
Not necessarily.

If it's a full time job and they're 40, then yeah, they've got problems.

But if they're teenagers, or college students, that's something else.

And if they're older, they may be working at McDonalds as a second (or third) job trying to make ends meet (or pay off credit cards)
absolutely not because i worked there when i was 16 and now i'm pursing a career in the medical field....for most people (at least myself) i seen McDonald's as a stepping stone, just somewhere i was working for a little extra cash, but in reality a job is a job just like money is money, do what you have to do.
