M.Beauty, employers definitely look at how long you stay in one job. I stay in my last job 13 yrs and that is the one thing my new supervisor kept bringing out at the interview. Take in consideration that the economy is bad and it's not going to get any better. If you stay at Macdonald until you finish school and there is nothing out there in the field you chose, there is always an opportunity for you to become a manager in the restaurant industry.( If you're not already) It's a decent pay too. And you can add that to your resume.
Great question! Is it better to work the same job for a long time or several jobs for a short time?
stick to the one then u get pay rise know the staff and know wat ur doing job to job and unstable low wage and lonelyIs it better to work the same job for a long time or several jobs for a short time?
It depends of the jobs. if all the small jobs you work for have a very high salary, and not many promotions, then its best to do many different jobs so you wont be bored. but if all the small jobs have low salary and good chances of promotion to a very good salary then keep the one job onlyIs it better to work the same job for a long time or several jobs for a short time?
It is always better to work with someone for a long time than lots lot job over the same amount of time. It shows commintent and staying power. moving from job to job might give people the wrong idea about you and show that you cant stick to a job or can't work with the same people for long periods of time.
You are in a difficult situation. Liking working for McDonald's shows your loyalty but it also shows your lack of ambition. Changing jobs frequently indicates your lack of stability. Even though you are getting a college education you do not seem to have any goals. You must establish some. Otherwise you will work for minumum wage for the rest of your life and waste your education.
