Anybody smart want to help me with my cover letter?

I don't want to lie but I'm afraid the truth is severely hurting my ability to find work. So here's the truth:

I tried to commit suicide in 2005, I got kicked out of my house in 2006, I lived in my friend's garage for 6 months working FT at McDonalds. I went to College from 2006-2008 and graduated in top of my class, taking $10 grand in loans. I worked during the summers but was not kept on after that.

Since September 2008 I've been dealing with depression, anxiety, lonliness. I spent a few months trying to find career-related work but most of the people I associated with tried to rip me off. Nobody wanted to hire me FT for career work. I've been applying to fast-food jobs and had countless failed interviews. I've been mostly unemployed, but I've had short-lived jobs including D2D salesman, D2D lawn-salesman, and working in fast-food. Respectively I was fired (4 days), quit (1 day), and fired/quit (2 weeks), but I did put in my best effort for each job. I've been on antidepressents for 6 months.

Right now I will take any (legal) job, I'm going to lose my apartment. Since I can't find career-work I've just been trying fast-food but they seem to think I'm overqualified. How can I impress on them just how desperate and loyal a worker I will be?

And no, I can't post this in the proper channel because no humans answer there. It's all robots. Any suggestions?Anybody smart want to help me with my cover letter?
What a cheerful cover letter.

Seriously, I read the suicide part and first thought: Why would I as an employer want to deal with someone with such issues?

So...you really shouldnt mention your mental health issues in your cover letter.

On a side note, why have you not been able to keep a job?

If your mental health issues are so severe that you cannot be employed then you should look into disability benefits as psychological problems can be considered disabilities.

I do not think I can be of very big help with your cover letter but I suggest you go into one of those employment services that help you with your cover letter and resumes for free (in Ontario for example, there is St. Stephen's in Toronto) and I also suggest you look into disability benefits.Anybody smart want to help me with my cover letter?
Hell, you ought to see MY resume'...

Yours would get you hired, eventually. Mine will get me KILLED, eventually!
How about disability?Anybody smart want to help me with my cover letter?
Are you sure you'll be a loyal worker? Your record shows that you struggle to stay in work even when you've found it

Depression is an illness - are you ready and really able to work? Talk to your doctor

And could there be a job choice between "career" and Mc Jobs? What about looking for something that gets you out of doors, like a parks attendant , or trainee gardener? Something that relates to an interest (if you have any)? Anything to get your CV looking like you are employable
Go back to the fast food restaurants and try again. Persistence and perseverance is necessary to get a job in today's job market. There are not any jobs out there.Anybody smart want to help me with my cover letter?
Never be afraid of the Truth. It takes a courageous being to be Truthful. Without being sarcastic, welcome to the human race. :) We all have stories of that nature, I've got my own stories of depression and suicide, many folks have. It's how we choose to deal with it that is the Key.

I chose to take my depression by the hand and LEAD. Instead of allowing my emotions control over me, I took control over my emotions. Evolve your emotions. You've been kicked in the a** for a reason, to now take the bull by the horns and lead. :) BE YOU. Never be someone or something other than who you ARE for anybody.

I'm glad I lost everything I had and had to file bankruptcy and much more, because I learned a very priceless lesson from it all. I can now handle anything that comes my way with welcome arms... I now embrace Life, I don't repel it.

Bring it! :) I mean that in a very productive way. You'll find your Center....its guaranteed.... Then, watch out world, step aside!!! :)

What you need will come to you...stay focused now.
