To write your resume would take me too long, but here are a few tips:

1) research the company, find out what their mission statement and goals are. Also, look at the job description and look at requirements or "preferred" skills. Take these things and form them into your objective telling the company why they want to hire you. For example, I am sure they have something on there about customer service: I would like to bring my previous learned skills in customers service by..... Align your skills with what they are looking for.

2) expand on your previous work experience. Don't just list the job duties, you're not setting yourself a part from anyone else who has done the same job. Show the employer what you did and how you added to that position or made it better. ie: Proved endurance by working long shifts and able to continue giving excellent customer service... (In leui of physcially stong:) Worked as a team member in one of the leading McDonald's in my area by...... preparing orders quickly and correctly, greeting each customer with a 'You're important" attitude, creating an efficient work environment to help keep business moving during busy hours... things like that.

3) You have to make yourself stand out and give the reader a reason to want to keep reading. At the end, ask the reader for an interview. Tell them that you would like the opportunity to meet with them in person to discuss your skills more in depth. Keep your resume short and to the point and highlight any achievements or awards you have received. Can someone please tell me how to make my resume better? I'm applying at a restaurant (caseys)?
Just focus on what the need, and have a good cover letter explaining your goals and ambitions/Can someone please tell me how to make my resume better? I'm applying at a restaurant (caseys)?
Hi, George,

1) You are a reliable dishwasher - your objective should be what you are interested in becoming or taking the skills that you have and improving on them. For example, "To use my dishwashing skills to benefit my employer while learning other kitchen positions."

2) Correct spelling errors - this is really important, use complete sentences

3) Provide references/valid contact numbers in your resume after each employer, or in your case, your volunteer experience and a school reference as well

4) You will most likely be asked to fill out an application in addition to submitting a resume. Be prepared. You should have all of your information with you, a pen that works, a reason for why you want to work for that company. If you practice interviewing first, with a parent or teacher, you will feel more confident and that is a big plus.
