What should i do?

hi, i have 3 misdemeanors, 2 for violent type deals, and one for a driving under the influence of marijuanna. im not doing stupid sh*t anymore, and i am looking for a real job, that may become a career. every where ive gone does background checks, and the places that dont, well they include mcdonalds and taco bell, lets just say that for now. so does anyone know what i should try? any ideas at all will help. no critisism, i know i was a dumb kid, you say something down grading and i will flag your answer. thanks againWhat should i do?
Id have to say try firefighting, even though its only during the summer....all you gotta do is take a pack test which consists of carrying 45 pounds on your back for 3 miles under 45 mins..and a U.A test also..its fun keeps you in shape....sucks that its during the winter months but i have a friend who fire fights during the summer and collects un employment during the winter months....and they dont check your background either!! you make around 13/hr so its not bad plus if your out on the line.....at an actual fire. You get good hours range from 9hrs-12hrs....get a big pay check after 2 weeks.....around 3 thousand thats before tax though.....theres so much to fighting forest fires!!! you will love it..i suggest you google search it and it will tell you about it....i got so much to say but so lil bit space to type so if you want to ask me more jus leave me a msg at the link below, you have to be a member of myspace thoughWhat should i do?
you should try something a little more personal.... like church... where it is more understanding and forgiving.
Are there classes or something you could take, that you could add on to your record to show you are willing to clean up your act? Like anger management or something? Because right now all they can see is that you've done these things, and they have no way of knowing you won't do it again. What should i do?
Just be honest. Not unless you're under 18, than your record should clear after you turn 18. I'm sorrry. I hope things work out for you in the near future.
What kind of work do you do? Try getting a maintenance job in a commercial building - if there aren't kids around, the building managers usually aren't all that concerned with the kind of stuff you're describing. What should i do?
I would go to a local social worker or counselor ---- or perhaps the local or county employment agency to see if they have any type of programs that would help you get back into the mainstream.
It's always happen like that, people will look for ur background before they took u as their employee...so y don't u set up ur own biz, u a ur own bos man....try sort out what that make u best which, ur hobby or u happy doing that. that can be ur career soon.
Do you like to drive? You can become a truck driver and see places. I love to drive. I was thinking about this field. But I am a mother of 2 small kids, hence I cannot leave them at home and be on the road always...just give this a thought.. I am sure it is very rewarding and fun. Good luck and do not worry about what happened in the past, everyone does some mistake in their lives at least you are admitting it and getting over it, concentrate on the future... you will surely succeed.
have you tried to get into a union apprentice program? like electricians, painters, iron workers, carpenters? you get paid training. and then you will have a career. also if you are under 24 you could try Job Corp.
It would help to know what area you live in.

There are many construction type careers that you could enter. They have apprenticeships and pay while you go learning programs.

You could always be industrious and start a business that could grow as you evolve.

There really is no limit to what you can do. Just stay open to opportunities and trust life to show you the way.
Everyone has made mistakes in their life

I can tell you u will find a job just keep applying. that will be so easy. But the truth of the matter is that people looks down on you about your situation. (career orientant people i am talkin about) the only true way to a great job is prayer to Jesus. He knows what you need. you may say why i am not having luck now finding. the truth is he want u to look up to him (jesus) for he is the hills from which comenth your help

just pray and have faith

stay still while you pray and let Jesus talk to you. meaning Jesus can answer prayers that are sincere. he will give you the desire of your heart for if you love and have faith

faith is the substance of evidence of things that are unseen. just because you cannot find that job now

just trust in your father jesus he will get u a job
Head to a career counseling center. They will be able to help you not only find a job now but to help plan a career path. Career centers are experienced with helping people find employment that come from all sorts of backgrounds.

Since you have a criminal background, you will have to go above and beyond to show propective employers that you are really leaving the past behind. Offer to counsel younger kids who may be headed down the same path you took, start taking college classes, do some community work, anything!

Practice your interview questions with anyone that will listen, especially outside the career counseling center. Be honest and be prepared to answer some difficult questions.
Maybe you should go to college. You can make an appointment to see the career counselor their and explain your situation to him/her. They should be able to give you some really good advice on how to go about getting a career going. And there are programs like ROP that you can get free or low cost education. Good luck!
