I'm not too sure what career I want to pursue in. Im thinking about taking criminal justice, being a nypd detective or working for the auto-crime division is do-able but im not too sure if I want to pursue in that career. The salary nypd makes is like the amount mcdonalds employees make. I'm also thinking about taking some business and/or hospitality classes just incase I don't pursue into the criminal justice I have something to back me up. Help me! any advice or suggestions will be appreciated. I want a career where I can make a very good living with and have fun doing it.
Thanks

My personal opinion would be to choose what you love before choosing what salary you want.
But anyways, say you pursue criminal justice... make sure you have a backup plan that will make you money on the side so that you can have a steady income. For example, I want be a social worker, but they don't make much money. So I'm training to be certified to give IQ tests to people on the side. This way, even if my salary is only about $30,000 per year, I still have a side job that makes an extra $300 per week. Making my salary go up to about $50,000.
Do you understand what I'm saying? Try to find something within criminal justice or whatever career you choose, that offers side jobs for some extra money. There's ALWAYS something. What courses should I take in college?
From what Ive heard from my friends in New York is that if you F**k up then you go NYPD. They also say that many are corrupt, I believe it too at those wages. Get a real career if you can. What courses should I take in college?
