Is Tommy McDonald the greatest college player of all-time?

McDonald played RB, WR, and some QB at Oklahoma in the mid-50's. He started 37 games and NEVER LOST A SINGLE GAME IN HIS CAREER! He was a two time All-American and won the Maxwell Award. He also only went on to a Hall Of Fame career in the NFL!

He was the greatest ever- agree? Is Tommy McDonald the greatest college player of all-time?
The Usual Suspect-

Are you a complete retard? Bud Wilkinson was the most respected coach there ever was, and a very good Christian man.

McDonald also won two National Championships. He would have won three but conference rules kept teams out of Bowl Games in consecutive years. Is Tommy McDonald the greatest college player of all-time?
yup!! he sure isIs Tommy McDonald the greatest college player of all-time?
Sure, and John Blake was the greatest coach of all time. Keep drinking that red Kool Aid.

45-35

Enough Said!

Hook'em!!!Is Tommy McDonald the greatest college player of all-time?
Yeah, was 37-0 under the most corrupt coach, never cited though in those days, in the history of the NCAA. Then there were couple of real doozies, Chuck and Barry, after Bud.

Most respected maybe in Hicklahoma, but the most corrupt in the rest of the country. But he wasn't respected enough in Hicklahoma to win a Senate seat running against a Native American liberal Democrat.

Wrong Felicia, conference rules DID NOT keep teams out of Bowl Games in consecutive years. 1948, 1949, and 1950 Oklahoma played in the Sugar Bowl.1957, 1958 they played in the Orange Bowl. All of that, though, is irrelevant since in those days the polls were closed and the national champion chosen before the bowl games so that didn't keep McDonald from winning three championships.

He got into the HOF in 1998, thirty years after he retired, not as a normal selection but as A SENIORS SELECTION. The Board probably felt sorry for him.

BTW, there was no WR position when McDonald played at Oklahoma.

Really up on your knowledge about college football, especially Oklahoma.
yup, he has so much talent that he was drafted in the third round!!!

BEST EVER!!!!!!

And all of heismen trophys damn!
