Career help for Bank Teller with Communications degree?

My dad works on Wall St for a bank but he's not going to give me any "ins" he already paid too raise 3 kids through college. I am currently working in the retail banking industry as a Teller for 11 bucks an hour. That's not going to put any of my kids through college and ever let me take a girl on vacation.

Im 25 and the burner is under my seat to get going. I have a BA communications degree and I am willing to take more classes but I have no idea which direction I want to go. I have learned allot as a bank teller and the first thing in my mind is wanting to be an investment banker, or at least financially advise and lend. I know everyone wants to be an IB these days and I am not first on the list with a comm degree.

I am willing to go to anywhere career path but the internet is overwhelming me with searches and I work 8-5 and then I apply for jobs for 6 hours completely aimlessly running down thousands of links and titles. So before I apply anymore I need to know what I am searching for. I have been searching for "junior analyst" etc type stuff hoping to get licensed etc. I'm good at interviewing I just need to find a career because I don't even have a finance degree so i'm all over the board.

I just want an entry level job around 40k or 20 bucks an hour whatever, but not 10 bucks and hour to slave over peoples cash and check mixed deposits for 8 hours is a step above mcdonalds except I can use it as reference experience.

Any help on sites or key words to search for. I'm a year out of school and im going back to look at paid internships.. Thank you. SteveCareer help for Bank Teller with Communications degree?
Look into a CFA (Certified Financial Advisor) or CFP (Certified Financial Planner) certificationsto see if either of these careers appeal to you and are attainable based on your degree/qualified coursework.
