this does not include jobs at McDonalds, as a janitor, etc.Does it really matter what you do in life - as in what career you choose?
I think it does matter what your career is! There are 2 main parts to your life--family/friends, and work. It is how you make your living. It is often something you're passionate about. It really defines who you are; inventors and creative, librarians are exploratory, business workers are often sophisticated. I don't mean to stereotype by careers, but it definitely tells a lot about you. Basically, everything you do defines you, since you work mostly 5 days a week, that is a lot of defining. It's hard to explain, but I don't see how your career can possibly be irrelevant to how you live, and your personality.Does it really matter what you do in life - as in what career you choose?
Whatever makes you happy!
The career you choose in life is EVERYTHING. Better like it cuz you'll be doing it at least 40 hours a week.Does it really matter what you do in life - as in what career you choose?
It's how you manage your life in whatever situation you face. :)
MONEYWISE: YES

yes. yes it does.
Nope, as long as you like doing it. Too many people get caught up in the idea that to be happy, they have to have tons of money. As such, they get horrible jobs that have long hours, and they are miserable every day they have to work. Instead, the point of a career is to pick something that you will love for the rest of your life. That's why it gets a cool name like "career", instead of just, "job." :P
find a job you like and you will never have to work a day in your life!
If you include daily exercise in your life, ANY career will be good for you. Exercise pushes your metabolism up, so you always feel GREAT.
You have to do what you will be happy doing for 35 years or so. There is nothing wrong with working at McDonald's someone has to do it but the problem is the pay, you wouldn't be able to survive. If you get a college degree it would be better if you wanted to work at McDonald with a college degree you could be a district manager making good money. ie janitor with a college degree you could be a district manager.
of coarse it does, but if you dont want to end up with prejudices (in one way or the other) i would suggest making some $$$ then cashing out.
A career is very important. You should enjoy it if you can. You base your whole life around a job because that's where your money is going to come from.
it matters if you need money to provide a family or something related to that manner of problems
It's not so much what you choose to do but how you choose to do it that really matters, including working at McDonalds or being a janitor.
you should choose a career that you enjoy
