McDonald's Job Application Declined, please read?

I'm 15, and looking for a part time job. I applied, and I felt confident about my application.

This is the email that they sent back in reply to me:

Dear James

Thank you for applying for the position of 36736.

We鈥檙e currently receiving such a high number of applications that sometimes we don鈥檛 have enough jobs for all the outstanding candidates who have applied to us. Unfortunately, in this instance, you are one of those people and as much as we loved your application we currently do not have any suitable positions at this restaurant. We would really encourage you to keep applying for other positions at this and other restaurants local to you as we feel you would be a really good fit for our team. You can also set up a search agent to send you job alerts which will let you know when your local restaurants are recruiting. This can be done through your profile on our careers website.

Thanks for your interest in McDonald's and we appreciate the time you have taken with your application, we'd like to wish you every success in the future and hope that you will keep on applying to our restaurants.

Good luck and kind regards,

McDonald's Central Recruitment Team

PS: I rang the manager, and he took my name. He told me to re-apply in a month and to call him. Does this email state that I failed? Or is it that they are genuinely full? As it says they loved my application and they think i'm suitable for the team?

I know McDonald's isn't a great place to work, but i'm trying to save up for the Canon 600D, and believe it or not, even on minumum wage, it would only take me 3 months or so to get enough for it.

Serious answers please :)McDonald's Job Application Declined, please read?
I think thats a pretty genuine letter to me and if I were you I would do as they say and re apply. At least you got a reply, lots of the time companies don't even have the decency to do this.McDonald's Job Application Declined, please read?
They already stated 'sometimes we don't have enough jobs for all the outstanding candidates'....this means they were flooded with applications. That's what happens in an economy like we have right now.

You can either wait for another opening or apply at a different location.
Do what it says on the tin! It looks positive, just re-apply. There are alot of people wanting work at the moment and not enough jobs. You didn't fail, you were just unlucky!McDonald's Job Application Declined, please read?
it looks like they are full to me.

who could fail at a job application to mcdonalds?!? lol!!
This is the paragraph that tells you

in other words, they have no vacancies at the moment - they're fully staffed.

but they've told you to set up a search alert - so do it

and hopefully once you are 16 and have your N.I

card, then a job will be availableMcDonald's Job Application Declined, please read?
My brother applied 4 times at three different mcDonalds. Try another McDs and genuine letter or not, they hire employees regularly. At McDs employees are a dime a dozen. Most of them don't make it past 3 months, so they are also hiring. Good luck. My brother started applying at 14 and it took him till he was 18 to get a job. But again Good Luck!!
I'm not sure what your question is. This is a standard email that they send to everybody. They just change the name at the top. Sorry, but big companies always do this. I predict you'll receive hundreds of these in the course of your life. You probably would be suitable, but they will have been massively over-subscribed. I feel for you because my son has had dozens of similar knock-backs in his quest for a job. Better luck next time xx
