133 Days to COMMANDER IN CHIEF

This goes straight to the heart and zeroes in on the gut issue quickly! Are we all aboard the USS Ship of Fools? Makes me wonder!

The first time I read this quote, I thought it was dangerously true. Then I really started pondering it and thought how would this apply to our own lives/careers? Let's look at it again to see how absurd it is.

You couldn't get a job at McDonalds and become district manager after 143 days of experience.

You couldn't become chief of surgery after 143 days of experience of being a surgeon.

You couldn't get a job as a teacher and be the superintendent after 143 days of experience.

You couldn't join the military and become a colonel after a 143 days of experience.

You couldn't get a job as a reporter and become the nightly news anchor after 143 days of experience.

BUT....

'From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate.

That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.

After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan. 143 days?

We all have to start somewhere. The senate is a good start, but after 143 days, that's all it is - a start.

AND, strangely, a large sector of the American public seems to feel comfortable with this and campaigning for him.

We wouldn't accept this in our own line of work, yet some are OK with this for the President of the United States of America ?

Come on folks, we are not voting for the next American Idol. SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!

Thank you

I don't accept his lack of experience, and Obama is anti-American. He would like to stop the war, and he thinks the way to stop it is by making "nice-nice" with our enemies. He will leave America wide open for an attack from one of the many countries that don't like Americans already. He's a wolf in sheeps clothing. Wake up America!!!Is there any thinking person that believes that Obama is qualified to be President?
Yes, yes, yes - me.
Yes, there are many thinking persons who believe this.Is there any thinking person that believes that Obama is qualified to be President?
You could ask the same thing about McCain. Isn't there a third option?
Yes, I do but thanks for asking. Is there any thinking person that believes that Obama is qualified to be President?
I sure as hell don't
Hopefully 51 % of the voting public. We'll find out soon enough.
is there any thinking person that thinks palin is?
Excellent points. Now you'll hear the dems come at you with Sarah Palins experience. They seem to keep confusing who's at the top of the tickets. Then they'll say that Biden will have Obama's back. THERE'S A REASON THAT WHEN HE RAN FOR PRESIDENT, HE DIDN'T GET HARDLY ANY VOTES!! HE LOST!

The strange bedfellows Obama has are scary enough, let alone his lack of experience. Scour this site, there's so much info there.

This thinking person is and so is 72 million others

as for your idol

please refer to what is happening right now and tell that to Mc cain who is riding on his idols SKIRT
To make things short , people in America has no choice but select him , you have only two people to choose from remember? Its either Mc Cain and Obama Isn`t it?

It`s just too simple , select President who will lead the citizen to war ? ( Mc Cain) or select a President , who would focus on America`s economic situation for awhile (Obama) it`s up to the people to select.
Apparently only Kool-Aide drinking fools! Nobody with a "sound mind", obviously.

For the "anti-war" gang; What do you think the "appropriate" responce to "9-11" should have been, a "hug"!!?
Thinking people trust other educated, thinking people, particularly those with a positive message. Thats exactly what the neo-cons just dont get...and never will.

ps. Rush Limbaugh flunked out of college. Thats your kind of leader I guess...
