Need help with career?

I have left 6th form and college as i did not get on there very well at all. I am for the time being working at McDonalds full-time but would like to start a career in music or theatre etc. I also have a very good business mind and have had experience helping in managerial roles as my dad owns a company which i have helped to run. Does nayone have any suggestions on how to start a career in a more theatrical or musical area without having to return to college?Need help with career?

you might be able to work at that, do better than your dad and then have all the time in the world to concentrate on the theatre.

go to every audition that you can go to, if you are destined to star in theater you shouldn't have an issue. if you constantly get turned down id recommend going back to collage or reconsidering your career choiceNeed help with career?
seek out work experience/volunteer work impress them so much they offer you a job/apprentiship Need help with career?
You could look at work opportunities with a local rep company or arts venue - I guess a lot depends on where you live and if you can move away to take a job somewhere else.



Also at what level you can - or will work to start with.



Explore any distance learning opportunities that may be available -

that way you could work and study without attending college
If you are 19 and under try connextions they could help you.
