I am 16 years old, I am looking for a job that I am very interested in already, I would hate to get a random job at McDonald's, and I am not saying for me to go to Nasa and ask them for a open job, no. But I was wondering if there would be any jobs out there for a 16 year old that is interested in Weapon design, engineering? at least something for a teen to get a move on things before college.
Thank you.A job for a teen to get him rolling on his career?
well,
i would suggest getting a job at a gun shop,
or something of the sort,
(something that has to do with different kinds of weapons)
but,
i think you have to be a little older
so then,
i would suggest something like,
mechanics
but im not really sure,
what kinds of weapons did you plan on designing?
like, military weapons?
or nuclear weapons?
or something else?
i would just check into the ones you would be most interested in,
for some of them
you have to be somewhat skilled
at things like
modeling clay,
computers,
math
so, if it takes one of those specifially
i would try a job that had to do with one of those
lol
sry,
im not too much help,
but good luck!

you could try to volunteer at an office, or try to volunteer at a hospital that would get you really going, then get to know some delivery people or some company sales men then talk to them see if you could discuss a career oppurtunity. Try the NYLF on homeland security.
well depends where do you live and how much are you willing to be paid. also answerrr my question pleasseee:]]

Apply at your local TV stations to be a camera operator, run prompter or do master control. Neither of those jobs require education at a small TV station. They'll train you. It's fun and you get paid to watch television. :)
We had a few teenagers that worked at the TV station I did. They did great!
I absolutely have no idea but do consider getting a random job such as McDonalds because for one.. it's something to have in the mean time until you find something better.. and it's experience you'll gain and something you can put on your resume. I think it's rather impossible to get a job without qualified education in the engineering field. Perhaps you know someone who currently works in that field that maybe you could volunteer there or tag alongside him one day
maybe try lifeguard training or at raleys as a bagger
for my first job when i was 16, i worked as a cashier at a pharmacy.
personally, i think it was an amazing choice because it got me more used to talking to people. i didn't have people skills, i didn't have manners. when i became a cashier, i was put in a place where i needed to be responsible, well-mannered, and alert.
it taught me how to relate to customers, and how to handle money at the same time.
just get a job at a grocery store, something where you're face-to-face with the public, but are around anything of value [for responsibility lesson-learning].
after i step back, i realize that my first job opened my eyes, and altogether prepared me for the real world and college.
Pretty terrifying a 16 year old boy is interested in weapon engineering and design.
You could try to look for an internship that will allow for high school students to work after school hours or see if you school has a school-to-work program. If you cannot find anything in either one of these areas, you could always join the National Guard when you are 17 and spend your summers going through boot camp which will train you in important personal values and give you knowledge that you can carry with you for the rest of your life. These values will also look good on resumes when you are able to start looking for a job in the career you love. Good luck!
