Job interview advice?

I am a full-time college student and I have a job interview at a hospital next week. I am really nervous. This job is as a pharmacy tech. I’m worried about “over-doing it” in the interview. It’s definitely a more serious job interview than one at mcdonalds, but its also not a job I’m going to have for the rest of my life. Im not interviewing to be a nurse or pharmacist, its just a tech... Once I graduate college I’ll be seeking a professional career that suits my major (which is pharmacy…)… they’re looking for someone full time, and when I told the person who called wanting to schedule an interview that I was only available part time, she still wanted to schedule the interview. But its not a for sure thing that I will get this job, and I need to nail this interview. I don’t know who is interviewing- I just know that it is more than one person. I don’t know what to wear or *what to bring* ?

I don’t have any suits or professional skirts. I don’t want to wear something like this:

because it seems like too much. I want something simple, nice, but professional. i’d like to wear pants… I have a pair of black dickies, and a nice black v-neck shirt. I was thinking of wearing a white blouse w/collar under the vneck, with some black heels or flats. Please help!!

Also, what should I bring? I have a slim black folder/portfolio to hold my resumes in. I have a purse that is very small and black (its probably not a good idea to bring my tan fossil messenger purse…) should I hand each interview a copy of my resume? Should I really get all of their names so I can write them a thank you letter within 24 hours? And if yes, can I do this via email? what should i bring?

How do i “show off research” about the hospital? The lady on the phone had to give me directions; obviously I don’t know much (tho I have been there before- just not to the pharmacy…..)

Ive been going to a lot of interview do and don’t web sites, but I feel like they don’t all apply to this particular job. If I was applying at mcdonalds and did some of those things, it would be weird. This job, again, is a lot more competitive than mcdonalds, but its not a professional career for many…. but its the most important job ive ever interviewed for because i need more pharmacy experience to get accepted into pharmacy school

any advice is welcomed and apprecaited, thanks for your timeJob interview advice?
First, you'll do fine if you relax.

Second, your campus has a "career center". Make an appointment with them. Ideally, wear what you want to wear at the interview and get their opinion. Let me know look at your resume and ask them what to take to the interview.

Finally, have questions for them. Many candidates only answer questions so many employers find it refreshing (meaning they'll remember you) when someone asks them questions. Ask about: the company, advancement opportunities, if overtime is required, highlight the items in your background that relate to the job you want.
