Rangers fans think the world of Boyd and us of Skippy, but tell me how many career goals has Boyd scored against us for Killie and Rangers? And how many has McDonald scored against Rangers in his career for Motherwell and Celtic?MacDonald Vs Boyd?
Big Kris is a decent player but wee Scot is a better all round player-Skippy would command around 6 million in the market-Boydie around 3 million-my honest opinion.

Dunno but Boyd is supposedly worth less than Glenn Loovens.
Last season Boyd's stats beat McDonald's and Boyd played far less games and most on as a sub for 10-15 Min's and still has higher ratio than Skippy.

As for total games played and goals scored Mr Boyd's stats are far far superior to Skippy

Got tae be honest man. I wouldnae mind Boyd playing for us, with him and Mighty Mac up front would be a great duo.
on a level playing field ,same amount of games etc, Boyd will come out on top.Im not saying he is a better player ,Im saying he is a better goalscorer.I want my main striker to score goals,whether its against St.Mirren or you lot.Dont care if he stands about for most of the game .

Both do it well and yes I would like both at Ibrox,and I cant believe Walter is even thinking about swapping Boyd for a central defender,cmon Walter..NONE ..of they strikers we have now are gonna score as much as Boyd..Forget about Europe win the f*ckin SPL BACK,THAT IS WHAT WE WANT
McDonald has found his level in the SPL, Boyd on the other hand could play in any league for any team and score goals. The constant daft stat nit picking doesn't really make sense. You'd think if scoring against bigger teams makes McDonald the better player then he'd also score more against the poorer teams, that would be the logical approach but it doesn't happen. Throughout his Rangers career Boyd has been left out of major games and only brought on towards the end so it's not even a fair comparison. Play them both with the same 10 players around them and I'd guarantee you Boyd would top the scoring charts.
to answer your question, boyd has only ever scored once against the hoops. i think he is a good striker but obviously the divine wattie doesn't like him, probably due to his off-field activities. skippy was a pleasant suprise and had a magnificent season, hopefully he will continue this season.
McDonald was top scorer last season, that's all there is to it
Macdonald, but heres the thing who knows what Boyd would achieve if only he was given a fair crack of the whip.
i think if they were team mates they would be a fantastic force. Skippy would do all the work like hes doing now, the only difference is Boyd would be there to Bang them in, and on VOH to fluff the chances.....

rite first off stats do lie cos yi cin pull stats oota anywhere. if stats were the case then flo was better than larsson ( which is obv not true) as he had a better goals to games ratio the same as boyd has to skippy but.... skippy played more games so taken over performances over a season then skippy wins it as boyd is a bench warmer under wally n ally. this question has been put in the hat before. n as a said McDonald is A better player than boyd but the 2 are totally different players mcdonald like to get stuck n often cracks a smile boyds a poacher like mccoist n is a miserable faced c*nt. but if yi put the 2 in the smae team it wid be a formiddable force ad gladly swap big JVH for boyd the mawra.

Both are good players but I would go for Boyd.
