HELP! i cant figure out a career i want and i'm already a senior!!!?

i'm now a senior in high school and i just feel like i'm never going to find a good career/ job. i suck at school. i have about a 2.7 gpa and a 1440 SATscore... i'm not dumn, it's just that i'm not smart. i'm inteligent in many ways just not academicly.. it just feels like nowadays that if your not smart and have good grades in highschool, your going to end up working at mcdonalds. i'm basicly average at everything i do, so it makes it harder to pick out my strengths for a career.HELP! i cant figure out a career i want and i'm already a senior!!!?
dont worry most people dont know what they want to do with there lives till at least 3rd year in collage or U so just finish high school for now and it will come to you or find something you like to do and just go out there and do itHELP! i cant figure out a career i want and i'm already a senior!!!?
I would look at the trade programs offered at the community college. There may be something there that you have not thought of before. Many of the vocational programs do not require a lot of academic work, and community college is cheaper and does not usually have strict academic requirements.HELP! i cant figure out a career i want and i'm already a senior!!!?
Don't worry! Most people who DO know what career they want to go for when they graduate high school end up doing something completely different. I've known a lot of people who have changed majors 3-4 times during the beginning of their college years and ended up really happy and successful.

My suggestion would be to enroll at a college after you graduate anyway. It's *really* common for people to be "undeclared" for the first year or two of college. When you do that, you get your basic classes out of the way, and you're able to see new things in the college atmosphere and learn more about what you are and aren't interested in. I know it seems like there's a lot of pressure to decide right NOW what you want to do with the rest of your life, but in reality that's rarely what anyone does. =) Just try to prepare yourself the best that you can, and work hard, and you'll come out alright.

Another suggestion is to try new things, join clubs, and try to meet as many different kinds of people as you can. I found out about career choices that way that I never even knew existed or that I would ever be interested in. You don't always have to be 100% dedicated to a cause or activity just because you join a club or campus group. It can be a really good way to learn new things, meet new people, and you're never really obligated to it if you decide it's not your thing.HELP! i cant figure out a career i want and i'm already a senior!!!?
I did very poorly in high school. I don't even think I had a 2.5 gpa. :) I know I prayed for at least a C or D so I could graduate. But years and years later, after I graduated, I decided to give college a try. I made the Dean's list more than once and guess what my profession is? A school teacher. LOL I was 50 before I decided what I wanted to be "when I grow up." I worked in a factory right after I got out of high school. Got a chance to go to a vocational school when I was in my mid 20's, and did very well, to become a medical secretary, and then later became a teacher. Don't stress yourself out because you don't know what you want to do now. Think about what you think you would enjoy doing, then go for it. Nothing can stop you, but yourself.
