Can I become A Veterinarian???I don't think I am smart enough! Help!?

I adore animals with all my heart, I have volunteered here:http://pets-inc.org/ for going on five years, I really want to become a Vet.

But I am starting to think I am not smart enough to make it, I have a GED instead of a diploma on the GED it says diploma but I don't know, I left high school to get my GED because I was being teased(not the skinniest girl) graduated on time class of 2009.

But when I was in HS my grades weren't good because I skipped ALLOT of days to avoid multiple people who like to pick on me. When I was in school I was good friends with all my teachers never in trouble, but I kept to myself most of the time.

I have ADD(not good at math), and my IQ is 112, so do you think I could become a Vet??? or should I aim towards making a career at McDonald's?Can I become A Veterinarian???I don't think I am smart enough! Help!?
why not? you could do anything you want. if you think GED is not good enough for fancy university, then go to community college. they have tutoring, labs and counseling for those with learning disabilities. after you graduate, you can transfer to state university and complete your bachelor's before going to vet school.



if you still think you cannot be a vet, and still love animals, try to become a veterinary assistant. you will work closely with Vet on the health of animals. you still will have to go to a school, not as much studying, but way better than a lifelong career at mickey d's!
