Whats the point in getting a degree if you're going to be stuck around nerds at work?

hi im 30, and have both an IT and a medical science degree. but whats the point if both careers are full of nerdy people? im a guy who lives the party lifestyle, this can all be done after work, but i want to have fun at work as well. Everyone at work is a nerd and no one likes to party, i have no one i can relate with. so whats the point in getting degrees when my friends who work at mcdonalds and in factories have more fun? ps. i don't want a family, nor do i work for money, i just want to do it for the pleasure ONLY, so whats the point in all that study?Whats the point in getting a degree if you're going to be stuck around nerds at work?
You need to grow up and stop judging those in your work place. The people you work with are propably older, have more interest in family life, and enjoy having some extra money. Calling someone serious about their work and mature in their personal life does not a nerd make. I know I sound like someone's mom but I'm a lot younger than you. Partying is fun, I will not deny that, but there is more important in life. Honestly I doubt you've really tried to connect with people at work, you just seem to be dismissing them as "boring" and "uncool" I think you need to get out of highschool and take a good look at your party bills and living expenses.Whats the point in getting a degree if you're going to be stuck around nerds at work?
If you don't do it for the money, IT is not going to be very fun

Just be glad you have that job and not one at McDonald'sWhats the point in getting a degree if you're going to be stuck around nerds at work?
